Job description

Reporting directly to the Data Planning Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for the design of all data network infrastructure and information security for BTC and to ensure that data security development is coordinated with other planning activities such as civil works, power and air conditioning. The candidate will be required to work within agreed BTC standards for quality in the development of data security and to provide technical data and security design support for special projects

Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess a BSc or BEng in Telecommunications Engineering, ITor equivalent supported by 5 years professional experience in the field of Telecommunications Engineering or equivalent. the candidate should be ERB compliant with specialised training in Data Networks and IP/Data Security Planning preferably in the areas of CCNA/P and Cisco security. Membership of a relevant professional body will be an added advantage
