REGULATORY & COMPLIANCE MANAGER – BTC

Job description

Reporting directly to the Company Secretary, the incumbent will be required to provide operational management of BTC’s regulatory and competition compliance within an agreed policy framework and to develop the BTC compliance strategy, ensuring internal compliance with the licence terms, national sector regulation and competition rules

The candidate will be expected to ensure that BTC conforms to investors expectations and provide relevant and timely briefings relating to regulator and compliance

Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess a Law Degree (LLB), Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computing or equivalent supported by 8 years professional experience of sector regulatory and competition compliance of which 2 years should be managerial experience in the regulation and compliance sphere preferably in a telecommunications environment

Registration with the Law Society of Botswana is compulsory. ERB accreditation and membership of a professional association will be an added advantage
