Bamalete Lutheran Hospital is a reputable, very busy level 1 district mission hospital providing a range of health care services. The hospital invites applications from suitable candidates for the following positions:

Vacancy: SPECIALIST GENERAL SURGEON

Salary Scale: E2 (P358, 800-P373, 296) Per annum
Qualifications: Specialist Qualification
Experience: At least 3 years post specialization
Duties & Responsibilities: All duties related to surgery in a busy district hospital The officer should be able to work independently and her/ his responsibilities will include among others:

-The Specialist General Surgeon is in charge of the operating theatre department and runs a weekly specialist outpatient clinic.
-He/She is in charge of the services offered to general surgical patients in BLH
– Teaching of other health care workers
-General medical duties in the hospital including calls
