KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

• Thorough and accurate capture of schedule related information from all stakeholders in the project including the owner’s team, the quantity surveyors and the contractors.
• Identification of variances between the schedule plan, forecast and actual.
• Interrogate and capture relevant data from contractors schedules for integration into the master schedule.
• Assist in capturing financial information from the contractors invoices and forecasts and the quantity surveyors for entry into the project cost reporting system.
• Assist in preparing reports with the lead planner on schedule progress against the plan and forecast.
• Assist other project leads in their data capturing and reporting requirements as and when required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• Certificate or higher qualification in IT, Information Systems or Business Studies.
• Minimum 5 years work experience.
• Experience in working in a project environment on construction contracts.
• Computer literacy is essential, particularly with advanced Microsoft Excel skills, and experience working in project scheduling will be highly regarded.
• Understanding interactions between various activities on a construction site and where and how to gather relevant information related to schedule progress.
• Demonstrate willingness to learn new concepts and skills.
