MINIMUM SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

·       5 Years’ experience in the retail sales sector (Hardware, Tools, DIY)

·       MUST BE BASED IN BOTSWANA

·       Matric or NTC 3 (Post matric qualification preferable)

·       Must have valid driver’s license

·       Must come from the hardware and/or tooling industry

·       Excellent selling skills

·       Able to build strong relationships with resellers at buyer and owner level

·       Basic training on industrial product lines

·       Computer literacy

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

·       Achievement of sales targets

·       Ensure revenue is at requires level of gross profit

·       Increase turnover of existing customer by upselling and cross selling

·       Set overall revenue and profit targets for each account

·       Negotiate win-win business solutions

·       Inform customer of new products/promotional campaigns and provide feedback to management

·       Ensure knowledge of client’s business

·       Build trust and confidence in customer relations

·       Resolve complaints and queries

·       Manage customers expectations re stock and delivery

·       Complete monthly customer call cycle planner

·       Complete and submit a comprehensive weekly call report

·       Determine training needs and provide relevant training on products

·       Attend sales and product knowledge training sessions

·       Coordinate tender or project quotations with tender specialists

·       Monitor turnaround of customers returns and repairs and escalate where required
