ACCOUNTANT  X1

POSITION: ACCOUNTANT

Job Summary

To provide and coordinate an effective accounting service to ensure adherence to all organisational policies and procedures.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

• Provides service in the field of accounts receivable, accounts payable and cash management
• Prepares payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements
• Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
• Documents financial transactions by entering account information.
• Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analysing account information.
• Ensure timeous reports for cost management
• Implements financial policies, procedures processes and ensures compliance to statutory legislation and regulations
• Accomplishes the result by performing the duty.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Accounting or any related professional qualification ie AAT,CIMA
• 2 years experience in the accounting environment
