Knowledge and Experience:

-Min 7 years’ Boilermaking exp in mining;

*Heavy machinery and equipment;

*Conversions etc.,

-Experience in all diciplines of welding. (Aluminium Welding knowledge would be advantageous)  

–2 Years in a Supervisory position

-Plate Metal & Strong Mechanical Skills

-Power System Experience (Pneumatics, Engines and excellent in Hydraulics, Engines and excellent in Hydraulics)

-Thorough knoweldge of systems for Production purposes i.e. ISO, JIT, NRP etc.

-Faultfinding

-Ability to interpret and create schematic drawings

-Private Company Exposure

-Excellent leadership and organizational qualities

-Excellent delegating skills and ability to convey message of urgency, without creating conflict

-Excellent people and management skills

-Must be willing to work in Botswana (Company to organize work and residence permits)

-Must be medically fit

Criteria:

-Boilermaker Trade Test (Section 13) or similar or Mechanical or Structural Engineering

-30-45 Years of age

-Fluent in Afrikaans and English

-Computer Skills (MS Excel)

-RSA Citizens

-Valid Passport

Job location: Close to Gabarone, Botswana (Employee will be expected to live in Botswana)

Time Frame: As soon as possible

Leave: Company break in December

Type of position: Permanent

Monthly Cost to Company: R 30 000 – R 40 000 per month depending on skills and experience of the individual.
