Production Planner – Kromberg & Schubert Botswana

Key Responsibility Areas

• Analyzing and validation of orders from the customers
• Expedite operations that delay schedules and alter schedules to meet unforeseen conditions
• Determine demand on the plant by utilizing various production control tools
• Plan and schedule workflow for each line operation according to established manufacturing sequences, lead times and demand
• Workflow Optimization, compiling progress reports(KPI’s), and initiating actions on orders and bottlenecks
• Ensure all parties are fully cognizant of production status and work planning and execution objectives are integrated and communicated on time
• Manage material allocations during engineering change process in order toeliminate any risks of obsolescence
• Provide regular reporting on production performance including OTD, premium freight charges incurred and excess risks
• Assure accurate distribution of finished goods and follow up on dispatches
• Liaising with service provider JIT/center and internal support
• Assure all actions necessary for MRP run are implemented
• Integration of orders and coordination of production
• Active participation in plant related issues and customer visits
• Constant contact with the customers making follow ups on orders and cancelled call-offs.

• Degree in Logistics & Supply Chain, Engineering or related field
• Atleast 2 years work experience working as a Planner in Manufacturing industry
