POTENTIAL OPPORTUNITY: RETAILER OPERATION OF SHELL SERVICE STATION

Required Competencies:

1. Customer Driven

• Strong ability to deliver the Shell Customer value proposition and Shell operational excellence standards
• Skilled at effective strategies to improve services delivery to professionally handle and minimise customer complaints

2. Retail Execution

• Passion for excellent customer service to build competitive advantage.
• Business Acumen to maximise Retail Site performance and apply best entrepreneurial practices
• Financial capacity to afford working capital and security for minimum BWP1, 000,000 (one million pula) for fuels stock, BWP 500,000.00 (five hundred thousand pula) for convenience store merchandise and miscellaneous setup costs such as office furniture, staff cost, relevant licence fees, insurance etc.
• Demonstrated capability to assesses staff competencies and provide the right motivational tools and targeted learning/ couching.
• Established stakeholder management skills.

3. Delivering Results

• Experience in sales target setting to maximise profitability within the site

• Proven record in monitoring sales and financial performance to ensure long term success and stainability of the site
• Availability on site to ensure hands-on management
• Health, Safety, Security and Environment

• Ability to instil a strong HSSE culture and proactively monitor its controls
• Good Knowledge of HSSE legislation and best practices.
