• Designs and draws modifications to air conditioning and refrigeration equipment for approval by the supervisor to ensure performance of the equipment.
• Provides technical advice in the areas of air conditioning and refrigeration.

• Implements improvements and carries out simple change management tasks by following established procedures to support others.

• Performs standard installation, maintenance and repair activities under detailed guidance, while also troubleshooting basic technical and/or operational problems by applying previously defined matching solutions.
• Installs, services, repairs and maintains refrigeration and air-conditioning systems on Corporation property.
• Assesses, calculates and makes appropriate recommendations on the installation of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment to ensure effective use of resources.

• Operates various machines, adjusting work sequence and/or other variables to improve efficiency.
• Attends to breakdowns and faults on industrial refrigeration and air conditioning plant to ensure continuous supply of services.

• Performs relatively simple testing and quality assurance tasks.
• Provides technical support in the inspection of ordered air-conditioning and refrigeration spares prior to acceptance by the Corporation inspects and tests cooling equipment before installation to ensure its suitability for use.

• Operates in accordance with policies and rules, while performing routine safety checks on own equipment and workspace.
