Main Purpose of the Job:

To provide an independent, objective assurance and consulting activity by evaluating and monitoring the adequacy and effectiveness of internal control systems, risk management and governance processes.

Experience and qualifications:
•Full qualification and membership of CIA, ACCA, BICA or CIMA. Professional certifications such as CISA and ACDA (ACL Certified data Analyst) will have added advantage.
•At least five (5) years post attainment of professional qualification work experience within a risk management or internal audit environment, two (2) of which should have been at supervisory level.
•Operational knowledge of relevant audit methodologies, standards and audit planning techniques, compliance monitoring, best practices in corporate governance as well as risk management and internal control frameworks.
