JOB SUMMARY

To oversee the effective support of BotswanaPost Value Chain ICT Services, ensuring all services are fully operational and have full redundancy capabilities. Advises the Value Center on IT issues relating to service provision and engages other IT and Business resources to ensure effective provision of IT Services for the business.

The position directly reports to Value Centre Business Support Manager, indirect report to IT Services Manager.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology OR Management Services. OR equivalent qualification

EXPERIENCE:

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in an IT support environment.
• Broad knowledge of IT Service Management and Control Techniques (ITIL – Service Management essentials).
• Knowledge in PC hardware and peripherals, mobile device hardware, networking, and troubleshooting hardware and network connectivity issues.

– ITIL Foundation or MOF (Primary)

– IT Service Management

– Microsoft Certified Systems Expert (MCSA )

– CCNA

– Windows Client (Primary)

– Windows Server
