JOB SUMMARY

To coordinate and control day-to-day IT Applications activities, ensuring effective monitoring of the network, systems and the datacenter using appropriate tools to achieve optimal performance and availability. Advises on IT Applications issues relating to service provision and engages other IT and Business resources to ensure effective provision of Applications Services for the business. The incumbent participates in technical research, development and implementation to enable continuing innovation within the Applications.

The position directly reports to Manager IT Applications and Business Systems.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

QUALIFICATIONS:

– – Bachelor’s Degree in computer science and or technology industry-specific professional qualifications

EXPERIENCE:

• A minimumof6 years’ experience inanITsupport environment,3 of which in a supervisory/management capacity
• BroadknowledgeofITApplications technology such as blade server systems,storage area networks, backups and communication networks
