SENIOR PROJECT MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT – CONTROLS

Job description

The Senior Project Management Consultant – Controls assists clients with conceptualizing, planning, setting up and managing of the project control functions ensuring a full integration of scope management, planning and scheduling, estimating, project administration and project cost management functions in a complex multi project environment

The requirements for this role include the following:

• A degree in Project Management i.e Bachelors, Masters/MBA in Project management or equivalent
• Project Management certifications such as PRINCE 2/PMP or equivalent
• At least 5 years post qualification project management experience in a Projects Controls role/function on high value capital projects in a mining, government, parastatals, construction and any other high value projects entity
• Client facing experience in complex high value, multi-stakeholder project environment in diverse industries particularly infrastructure, mining, power etc
• At least a Project Control certification such as Certified Cost Professional (CCP), Planning Scheduling Professional (PSP), PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP), Earned Value Professional (EVM) will be essential
• Ability to manage, mentor project controls teams made of planners, cost analyst, project administrators and document controllers
