PRODUCTION MANAGER

A reputable organisation within the meat industry is looking to fill the vacancy of a PRODUCTION MANAGER

The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail oriented and competent within this held.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES

• Planning and organizing production schedules
• Estimating, negotiating and agreeing budgets and time scales with clients and managers
• Enforce strict health & safety measures
• Overseeing production processes
• Selecting, ordering & purchasing materials
• Organizing the repair and routine maintenance of equipment
• Supervising all staff
• Determining quality control standards

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION

• A qualification in Production Management is essential
• Knowledge of SAP functional requirements
• Computer literate

SKILLS. KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

• Have at least 3-5 years of post-qualification experience within a similar position
• Ability to work well independently and effectively within a team setting
• Thorough knowledge of principles, procedures and practices of production processes
• Ability to establish and retain effective working relationships with staff and to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Deadline oriented
• A clean driver’s license
