CONVENIENCE RETAIL (CR) MANAGER – VIVO ENERGY

Job Purpose:

The purpose of the role is to implement the CR growth strategy through the development and implementation of the Vivo Energy Botswana CR plan.

Qualifications and Experience:

The ideal candidate must have:

• Degree in Sales & Marketing or equivalent qualifications with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Marketing
• Convenience Retail knowledge and experience.
• Well-developed negotiation and analytical skills.
• Good relationship management and communication skills
• Driver’s license is mandatory
• FMCG experience will be an added advantage

Principal Accountabilities:

• Develops and owns country-specific Convenience Retail plan based on the Convenience Retail strategic framework.
• Delivers the annual country CR C3 margin budget.
• Ensures that the Convenience Retail formats are delivered through the refurbishment program in line with the agreed Convenience Retail strategic framework.
• Develops and implements a tactical marketing plan that delivers customer value and supplier income in line with the agreed Convenience Retail strategic framework.
• Ensures pricing policy is implemented in line with the agreed Convenience Retail strategic framework.

• Ensures macro and micro space is optimized line with the agreed Convenience Retail strat framework.
• Identifies and implement local ranging opportunities.
• Manages and maintains the product master
• Trains and develops Retailer capability in CR.
• Works collaboratively with the Retail team to ensure high levels of customer service and operational execution.
• Implements Retail projects as necessary.
