To manage and control the provision of project management and power system planning services to ensure continuity of supply and enable efficient & coordinated power network development. The incumbent will facilitate the planning of short, medium and long term Transmission & Distribution (T&D) network development plans using load demand forecasts; manage the development of network planning and project management standards and designs; provide technical information on the implementation of work programmes; design and/or approve designs of major reticulation systems and installations with cost estimates; prepare documentation for open tender projects and recommend the selection of consultants and contractors for the relevant project; manage way leaves, land and access to construction sites. Manage the provision of Geographical Information Systems for efficient operations of the business.
