Facilities Manager – Infrastructure Facilities Manager

Facilities Manager will be responsible for planning, directing and over wring the maintenance operations of the facility as well as overseeing the monitoring of the soft services. This Includes planning and maintaining work systems. Implementing maintenance procedures and policies, developing and Implementing planned and preventative maintenance schedules, supervising contractors on site and ensuring the facility Is complaint with the necessary standards To monitor the performance of contractors against contracted soft service SLAs in order to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.

Reports to: Accounts Manager

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical Engineering)
• 2 -5 years experience in Facilities / Engineering environment Property or Project Management or equivalent knowledge and skills.
• Good understanding and experience of Safety, Health. Environment & Quality (SHEQ).
• Good financial and business acumen.
• Working knowledge of equipment, materials and supplies used In facilities management
• Good understanding of SLA’s and Management contracts.
• Operational experience at a managerial level.
• Knowledge of labour laws and managing labour relations Issues.
• Valid driver s license and own transport.
• Experience in managing technical and non-technical staff.
