GENERAL MANAGER – BOTSWANA NATIONAL SPORT COMMISSION

• Reporting directly to the Director, Sport Development the incumbent will be responsible for providing a technical and administrative link between the BAA and the BNSC to enhance communication and operational efficiencies and coordinate the submission of sport funding requests, monthly reports and documentation to ensure timelines and availability of management of information.

Key tasks and responsibilities

• Ensuring that the BAA is compliant with administrative procedures
• Timely completion and availability of BAA reports
• Consolidation of BAA reports and statistics
• Timely response to queries and reports
• Customer service
• Database development and information management

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Sport Science/ Sport Management, Physical Education. Sport Administration. Business Administration or equivalent.

At least seven (7) years’ experience in an admmistrativeposition.withanunderstanding of spreadsheets basic accounting, basic statistics and report writing preferably in a sport environment.
