Introduction

Transformational Leaders required to Join Botswana Power Corporation during this exciting time of Change. BPC is looking to fill the position of General Manager Human Resources.

Specification

The main purpose of this position is to manage the Corporation’s Human Resource function within agreed targets. The incumbent will provide support to other business units by developing Human Resource, Industrial Relations and other related policies, processes and procedures as well as develop a centralised consultative HR framework in line with the transformation and strategic business objectives of the Corporation.

Requirements

Required Experience

• A minimum of ten years relevant experience in a large corporate organization
• Of the above, at least fi ve years must have been in a (senior) management position
• Substantial Human Resource and Change Management experience gained in diverse technology driven organisations, including experience in organizational rehabilitation and transformation
• Detailed knowledge and understanding of strategic planning and performance management
• Experience gained in the utility sector will be an advantage.
