RADIOGRAPHER – MAUN

Job Summary

Reporting to the Clinic Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for providing radiological imaging at Prime Health Medical Centre in Maun and ensuring adherence to protocols set by Health Professions Council of Botswana and radioactive inspectorate.

Key Performance Areas

• Performs radiology imaging at Prime Health Clinic
• Ensures high level of clinical quality and customer service at all times
• Ensures adherence to regulatory standards and requirements
• Ensures proper application of standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Participates in stock management, maintenance of adequate inventory levels and accurate records keeping.
• Participates in periodic report compilation
• Assists with proper billing using ICD-10 Codes

Job Requirements, Experience, Skills and Core Competencies

• A Degree in Radiography
• Diploma in Ultrasonography will be an added advantage
• Minimum of 5 years work experience
• Valid registration with Botswana Health Professions Council
• Experience in private practice will be an added advantage
• Computer literacy with excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Program
• Clinical know-How
• Customer service Ethics
• Good communication skills and interpersonal skills are key
• Good problem solving and decision skills
• Must pay attention to detail
• Ability to work in a team environment
