Our client Contractor is urgently seeking a Qualified Junior Quantity Surveyor for a project in Gerald Estate in Francistown:

JUNIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR

A Gaborone based Civil Engineering company is seeking the services of a junior quantity surveyor for a project in Francistown.
1. Duties
The successful individual will initial be based on site with occasional head office assignments
Reporting to the Project Manager through site organised structure, the incumbent will be responsible for:
• Timeous measurement of executed works or works to be carried out
• Agree measurements with Resident Engineer or his assistants
• Preparation and follow-up of interim payment claims and on-going re-measurement of works for the preparation and submission of final accounts
• Preparation of project scope schedules in conjunction with the companies drafting department.
• Pricing Bills of quantities for tendering purposes

1. Minimum Requirements (this is a junior post)
• Diploma or degree (BSc) in Quantity Survey from a recognized institution
• 2 years experience of both office and site involvement
• Good knowledge of construction computer programs (WinQS) with a solid competence on measurement of works and bill preparation
• A valid drivers license
