REGIONAL SALES MANAGER – MICRO FINANCE BOTSWANA

The position is to head up one of the regions in the operations structure of a microfinance company that was launched 8 years ago. The ideal candidate must be a mature individual with entrepreneurial flair, capable of working with a high degree of autonomy and be able to lead by example.

• You must be a seasoned operator in the microfinance industry. You need at least 3 years’ sales management experience in micro-finance together with a proven and stable track record in this industry, this is not negotiable;
• You must have managed various distribution and/or sales channels in the microfinance industry on a day-to-day basis, and be a results orientated person;

• Experience of the implementation of strategies, sales and training in an operational environment is required;
• A hands-on operational, sales and analytical background in the microfinance industry and a thorough understanding and experience of appointing new sales team members, training, managing and developing a sales team should be demonstrated throughout your career;
• Above average people management skills and professional communications skills are essential;
• A qualification in Sales Management would be an advantage
• The position will entail extensive traveling across the country
