Manager: Underground/ Surface Operations – BCL in Liquidation

BCL in Liquidation is looking to employ a Manager Underground/ Surface Operations for their operation in Selebi Phikwe. Applicants should note that the key purpose of this position is to preserve the assets to retain value and functionality and to introduce cost reduction methods to minimize Care and Maintenance running costs

Reporting to the General Manager candidates are expected to have

• A Bachelor in Engineering in either Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent,

• A minimum of 6 years’ experience as an engineer on a mine
• A valid driver’s license Class B

Key areas of responsibility include planning, budgeting, and costs, control. Operations, Process Improvement to achieve resource conservation, project management as well as SHE and People management to achieve agreed operational needs.
