VACANCY: PART-TIME ADULT EDUCATORS FOR ADULT BASIC EDUCATION PROGRAMME (ABEP)

EMPLOYMENT PERIOD: 10 MONTHS (April 2019-March 2020).

2. Francis town East: ( Satellite Primary School. Colored Park,  Selepa SHAA. Donga Park. Area W Park. Mahubc Primary School. Assemblies of God Church ( Minestone). Leckgaba Primary School. Prisons, Area S Park.

SALARY: P72.96 per session (a session is two hours).

LEAVE: There are no leave days attached to this Part Time Employment part time employment

BENEFITS: No other benefits arc attached to this post other than the Payment for the session worked only

QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidates should possess either of the following BGCSE/COSC/ BGSE EXPERIENCE

Work experience from any community service and or voluntary services to the community would be an added advantage.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

To recruit learners and facilitate teaching and learning in the Adult Basic Education Programme (ABEP)

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

• Mobilise and recruit learners to ABEP classes
• Teach ABEP lessons as scheduled
• Motivate and support learners in their studies
• Assess and monitor learners performance and progress
• Mobilise communities to participate in Out of School Education and Training programmes.
• Murk assessments test and provide effective feedback to learners within the stipulated time.
• Keep records of learners’ attendance, learners’ progress and any other relevant information.
• Maintain and monitor learner’ profiles and submits monthly statistics.
• Provide guidance and counselling to learners as the need arises and refer to the Unit if necessary
• Attend to any in-service trainings/ workshops as required
• Undertake any other related duties as required to meet the exigencies of the service
