GENERAL MANAGER – BOTSWANA UNIFIED REVENUE SERVICE

Reporting to the Commissioner General, you will ensure that the transformation projects align with the corporate strategy and oversee and advise on their execution and progress. You will strive for operational excellence and cultivate a culture of creativity and innovation to enhance continuous improvement and process redesign within the organisation. You will oversee the management of BURS Project Management Office and implement all aspects of change management and business improvement initiatives. In addition, you will be heavily involved in risk identification and resolution, project coordination, business process reengineering and the implementation of ICT enabled business systems developments.
You will have a wealth of experience leading strategic change initiatives in organisations along with demonstrable strong programme/ project management skills. As a leader, you will possess exceptional communication and leadership skills and be at ease under pressure to deliver large scale projects. This role demands a result-oriented individual who has the cognitive capability to make decisions when required.

You will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or related area coupled with at least 8 years post qualification experience of which 2 years should have been gained in a managerial role within a large complex organisation
