Senior Infection Control Nurse – Stocksure Holdings (Pty) Ltd

Stocksure Holdings (Pty) Ltd, is a proprietary limited company established in 2008 to carry out the business of corporate office cleaning, hospital cleaning and clinical waste management services. We seek to recruit a dynamic and result – oriented professional with extensive experience in infection prevention and control to join our team.

Key Performance Areas

• Conducting regular inspections of all the facilities serviced by Stocksure Holdings (Pty) Ltd.
• Developing infection control policies and monitoring implementation of the processes.
• Collecting data and preparing reports on incidents of all infections.
• Participating in infection control team meetings and departmental meetings.
• Preparing training material and programs and training staff members on infection control practices and measures.
• Detecting sources of infection at various facilities and implementing preventative measures.
• Regularly checking, monitoring and vaccinating staff members for infectious diseases.

Qualifications, Competencies and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or in a related field.
• Results driven and self-motivated.
• Analytical and statistical collation skills.
• Certificate in Infection Control would be an added advantage.
• A minimum of (5) year’s post-qualification experience in a Nursing environment with at least two (2) years’ experience in a senior position.
• At least one (1) year experience in the cleaning services industry would be an added advantage.
