Trainee Accountant

Sunshine Enterprises is in need of a Trainee Accountant.

Key Performance:

1. Update and maintain accounting journals, ledgers and other records detailing financial business transactions (e.g., disbursements, expense vouchers, receipts, accounts payable)
2. Prepare general ledger postings, bank deposits on a daily basis
3. Reconcile accounts as at when due
4. Provide support and assistance to company personnel
5. Investigate and restore documentation or accounting discrepancies and problems
6. Work according to established procedures, standards, and applicable laws
7. Sort and compile cheque and invoices
8. Issue cheque for accounts payable
9. Enter daily worksheets to the general ledger system and record business transactions
10. Record refunds and charges
11. Input invoices, cheque, vouchers, reports, account statements and other records
12. File and tally deposits
13. Match invoices to work orders
14. Process bills for payment and any other work assigned

Qualifications

AAT OR CABS or any equivalent
