Diamond Trading Company Botswana (DTCB) is a 50/50 Joint Venture Partnership between the Government of the Republic of Botswana and De Beers Group. It is the world’s largest and most sophisticated rough diamond sorting and valuation operation.

We are looking for innovative and creative Diamond Sorters to ensure basic sorting function within Operations including specified diamond handling activities directly associated with the sorting process.

The individual will be responsible for: sorting diamonds according to sample, ensure accurate and consistent assortments in order to meet Company objectives.

Knowledge and skills required are: Diamond Sorting, product processing, sample interpretation, team work, planning and organisation, gemstone grading.

You are required to have a minimum of a Diploma qualification and at least 2 years valuing and sorting experience or O’Level/BGCSE plus a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Diamond Sorter within the Rough Diamond Sorting Environment.
