Risk and Compliance Intern

Summary of Responsibilities:

1. Perform risk assessments to understand risk level, significance and scope
2. Keep up to date with, and understand relevant laws and regulations
3. Monitor compliance with laws, regulations and internal policies
4. Investigate irregularities and non-compliance issues
5. Report back to business functions on current risk and compliance performance
6. Highlight or escalate areas of concern
7. Contribute to robust and effective compliance controls within the organisation
8. Assist in the gathering of internal information in response to regulatory requests
9. Collaborate with other departments to create a culture of compliance
