INSIDE SALES AGENTS x4

Inside sales agents help generate new business by contacting potential customers and selling insurance. They also explain various insurance policies and help clients choose plans that suit them.

Minimum Qualification requirements:

• A certificate of proficiency (COP) in short term insurance from the insurance institute of South Africa or equivalent.
• One years’ experience in sales or client services environment preferred.
• At least 1 years’ experience selling short term insurance product in the business
market.
• Excellent communication interpersonal negotiation skills.
• Call center experience in sales environments.
• Analytical skills to understand complex coverage details and underwriting guidelines.
• Pc knowledge- word and excel an added advantage.

• Ability to work in a paperless environment, with software and scanning equipment.
• Good Oral & Written communication skills
• Good Analytical & Organisational skills
• Strong Customer focus

Summary or Roles and Responsibilities:

• Handle and manage customer inbound calls.
• Answer customer inquiries regarding products of services.
• Maintain a database of customer calls, their needs and requirement.
• Conduct market research and field survey for clients’ products and services.
• Prepare sale reports
• Develop and maintain business relationships with policyholders.
• Counsel and advice prospects and policyholders on matters of protection and coverage.
