Job Summary
To provide an effective and efficient clerical and administrative support service within the Human Resources function.
Minimum Requirements
- Certificate in Social Sciences or equivalent.
- Two (2) years post qualification experience in HR operations environment.
Key activities
- Ensures that third party payments for service providers such as media houses, recruitment agencies, medical assessment centers and job fit assessments, verification checks service providers are executed timeously.
- Conducts recruitment process activities for designated levels as directed by supervisor.
- Provides logistical support for interviews by arranging venues, inviting interview panel members, booking accommodation, applying for security clearance and medical examinations and transporting interviewees to various destinations as required.
- Provides an effective clerical and administrative function by:
o Maintaining the section’s filing system and archiving as appropriate
o Retrieving and availing information when required
o Attending to and distributing mail as required
- Provides a document management service by performing all associated administrative and clerical activities, documenting problems, progress checking and ensuring its provided for error resolution incident analysis and compiling statistics for reporting critical activities in the area of responsibility as per instruction from supervisor.
- Receive and action calls assigned to area of responsibility as per the prevailing DESC Functions and categorization.
- Resolves customer’s problems by clarifying issues, researching and explaining answers and alternatives.
- Provides high quality transaction processing services that meet all compliance, quality and risk measures.
- Medical aid and pension fund administration (New membership, additions, withdrawals & handles shortfalls plus overpayments and monthly accrual recon report).
- Adheres to all safety health and environmental policies and procedures in area of responsibility.
