Facility Manager

MARKET DAY is a property development company, and is looking for a hardworking youth to be a caretaker of its properties in Tlokweng. A student res (39 units) and 10 studio apartments.

Job Descriptions:

• Communicate effectively with tenants, guests, visitors, and on-site team
• Conduct or oversee all maintenance work, service requests, punch lists, building inspections, preventative maintenance, and cleaning
• Ensure that all work has been completed in a safe, prompt, and professional manner
• Communicate concerns of the community with owner
• Prepare maintenance reports and other job-related documentation
• Maintain inventory of equipment, tools, and supplies
• Present an appearance appropriate to the image of Market Day
• Able to work on call and extended hours (including after-hours and weekends)

Special Requirements:

• Driver’s license

Attendance/Travel:

• This position is a full time position and may require the availability to work some nights, weekends, and occasional holidays. Regular attendance and active participation/planning at company functions and events is also required.
• No experience is required
• A qualification in real estate or related course is an advantage.
