GoatGold (Pty) Ltd is an agricultural business established with the aim of bridging the gap between Goat farmers in Botswana and the marketplace. We pride ourselves in being able to sell goat meat and goat products on behalf of Batswana farmers at affordable and competitive prices. Our vision is to take the Goat meat produced locally, to the global market in the next 3 years.

FINANCE OFFICER

We require the services of a finance officer who will be responsible for maintaining an effective accounting procedure and control in the company. To ensure that accounting entries are updated all the time. Also to make sure that accounting records are in accordance with generally accepted accounting practices.

Key Objectives

Check and deal with daily financial correspondence
Handle daily payments, receipts, reimbursements timely posted to the accounting software
Manage bank accounts (Checks balances, withdraw/ transfer funds, manage cheque books, prepare reconciliation statements)
Handle petty cash; conduct periodic cash counts as per Finance manual
Deals with any financial, accounting or administrative issues
Produce timely financial reports
Prepare monthly cash flow plans
Performs any general office duties as required

Requirements

Diploma/ degree in Accounting/ Finance/Business Administration
Knowledge on QuickBooks will be an added advantage
