Job Description

• Developing and overseeing control systems to prevent or deal with violations of legal guidelines and internal policies
• Evaluating the efficiency of controls and improve them continuously
• Maintaining the fixed assets register
• Controlling the Vanguard transactions in the Commodity Stock Exchange daily
• Responsible for the submission of legislative monthly and quarterly returns
• Responsible for production backflush reports which will be done daily
• Maintaining the contracts registers
• Responsible for surveillance checks on operational expenditure
• CHEP pallet reconciliation
• Responsible for verifying the stock counts
• Reconciling the CSR account against the budget
• Providing advice, awareness and training on matters pertaining to compliance
• Will be ensuring the statutory and legal compliance with relevant authorities
• Will be supervising the SHE function and system administration thereof.

Minimum Requirements

• B.Degree in Finance/Accounting
• Must have 5 – 6 years experience in Internal Audit/compliance practice
• Must have at least 5+ years experience in a leadership role and managing a department
• Relevant postgraduate training with be advantageous
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must be a Motswana Citizen
