Graphics and Multimedia Designer – JB Sports

The Multimedia Assistant is responsible for the creative direction of all advertising,
marketing and branding campaigns for the JB Sports Group ensuring they fit the overall brand strategy.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Putting together concepts (or creative work Graphics and video) that fulfil the organizations objectives.
2. Working on exciting creative campaigns (or branding and launching projects products and promotions.
3. Ensuring all creative work fits the brief given and achieves the target goats.
4. Visual and Art direction (or advertising campaigns across a variety of mediums.
5. Project managing campaigns to ensure delivery to deadlines.
6. Creating artwork for a variety of communications material to include:

Advertising. POS. Branding and Marketing projects/campaigns.

7. Creating artwork of the highest standard within guidelines.

8 Ensure that all artwork work is delivered according to brand and corporate identity guidelines.

9. Adapting artwork based on feedback from internal stakeholders.
10. Working to short deadlines and fast turnaround times
11. Constructing Artwork master templates for use throughout the organization.
12. Working on a variety of different projects covering video production, photography, typography, retouching designs, layouts and illustrations.
13. Designing all the company’s multimedia graphics including all sales and marketing materials such as catalogues, online banners and branded materials.
14. Liaising with suppliers regarding production of materials ensuring these are taking into consideration with internal deadlines.
15. Taking down design briefs and translating these into creative but practical branded materials

Key skills

• The ability to produce creative material to sometimes short deadlines is essential
• Knowledge of online software and packagers such as HTML and Content Management Systems.
• Passionate and driven with an ability to produce exciting creative.
• An ability to translate client briefs into creative that fits their needs.
• Hard working and able to work to sometimes tight deadlines.
• Natural eye for design and artwork and a strong portfolio of creative projects

Requirements for the role

• Degree in creative multimedia/motion graphics and visual or equivalent
• At least 2 years experience working as a Multimedia Designer ideally in a similar industry (retail) would be a strong advantage
• Experience in using multimedia design software packages such as Adobe Premiere.
• Apple Final Cut Pro. After Effects. In Design. Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
