Qualifications: Degree in Research or related field from a recognised institution.
Experience: The candidate should be able to teach Research process which include: Introduction to health research, research problems and questions, literature review, research methodology and report writing.
- Should be able to evaluate research proposals of researchers who would like to carry out research In the institution.
- To carry out the Institution’s research strategy.
- 6 years teaching experience will be an added advantage.
Summary of duties
- Preparation of lesson plans
- Teaching of students In class
- Setting and marking of common tests
- Evaluate the performance of students and compile report
- Moderate tests set by other lecturers
- Maintaining progress records
- Maintenance of attendance registers
- Coordinate the development of institutional research strategy and its Implementation
- Chair the Institutional Research Board (IRB)
- Evaluate proposals of researchers who would like to carry out research in the Institution
- Carry out other duties assigned by management
