OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE ENGINEER (x1)

Worldwide Commodities (Pty) Ltd is a privately owned company concerned with group interests ranging from Sales, Distribution logistics and manufacturing.

The applicant will be required to run the operation of the Northern branch and manufacturing plant, with a focus on all the technical aspects, warehousing, operations, maintenance and Logistics management. The applicant will need to be able to manage a team of technical staff, warehouse staff members as well as drivers.

Candidate Requirements:

1. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with over 5 years’ experience in maintaining plant and vehicles.
2. Accounting system knowledge and familiarity.
3. Experience in logistics / Transport /FMCG industry.
4. At least 5 years’ experience in a Management role with a proven record of people management

5. Strong analytical, written/verbal communication, interpersonal and relationship building.
6. Ability to work independently.
