1. MANAGER (GICO) – (1 POST)
SALARY: E1 (425,376 -442,584) per annum
LEAVE: 30 working days per annum
BENEFITS:
i. Contributory pension scheme (Government contributes 15% and employee 5%)
ii. Optional contributory Medical Aid (Government pays 50% and employee pays 50%)
NEW ENTRANTS: A contract of 24 to 36 months with gratuity at the rate of 25% payable upon expiry of the contract.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Degree in Social Sciences (Economics, Public Policy, Public Administration, Political Science, or any related field). Master’s Degree in the related field would be an added advantage.
EXPERIENCE:
• At least sixteen (16) years relevant work experience, two (2) of which should have been at a senior professional level in Government (E2 level), or equivalent in the Private Sector or in a Parastatal Organization.
• Strong strategic and analytical skills including analysis of both quantitative and qualitative data.
• High monitoring and evaluation skills
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB;
To monitor and evaluate implementation of all National projects and programmes
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS;
• Provides credible and objective information for decision making;
• Provides support to stakeholders on ways and means to improve their performance
• Facilitate knowledge building and sharing to stakeholders to improve their performance;
• Monitors and evaluates projects and programmes for national productivity improvement
• Reviews and harmonizes policies for improved implementation of national programmes
• Identifies programmes implementation gaps and/or linkages in the Ministries and provide strategic support to improve their performance
• Monitors the production of reports on monitoring and evaluation of national programmes
• Reviews and manages Divisional plans and performance of supervisees
