DIRECTOR, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT wanted at Botswana University of Agriculture and Natural Resources

Accountable to the Deputy Vice Chancellor-Finance & Administration, the successful candidate will be expected to identify and seize income generation opportunities for BUAN to ensure sustainability and competitive advantage.

The incumbent will be responsible for among others, the following:

• Participating in the development of the overall University strategy.
• Identifying business opportunities and/ or potential partners and investors and oversees the implementation of viable business ventures.
• Maintaining extensive knowledge of market dynamics.
• Effective value chain management.
• Establishing, building and maintaining networks and partnerships

• Possess a Master’s Degree in Marketing, Business Management/ Administration, or any related business discipline from a recognized academic institution and should have attained a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
• In addition, the candidate must have attained at least ten (10) years post qualification experience, with four (4) years at Managerial level.
