CREDIT MANAGER – WOMEN FINANCE HOUSE BOTSWANA

The organization’s mandate is to alleviate poverty through the provision of access to micro finance, training and business support services to low income women. The organization is dependent on grants.

CREDIT MANAGER

Minimum Requirements:  Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or any Business related qualification. A relevant post graduate qualification, or experience in credit and risk management within a banking setup will be an added advantage

Knowledge:

• High level of computer proficiency and leadership skills.
• Previous experience in Banking or Microfinance an advantage
• Minimum 5 years’ experience at managerial level

Duties:

• Develops program of operations for the credit program and submits annual plans to the Program Director for approval
• Policy and Procedure Initiation by providing administrative rules and procedures for the team, initiating amendments to the lending policy and providing appropriate recommendations.
• Performs Credit Risk Analysis and Assessment, putting in place requisite risk mitigation measures.
• Provide regular business management advisory services to team members and clients.
• Preparation of regular management reports for internal and External reporting
• Establishing annual performance targets, regular performance assessments and reviews on key performance areas
