John Mackenzie School is an independent, co-educational, English medium school situated in Francistown, Botswana. The school which was established in 1899 has a rich 120 year old history and its classes range from Pre-Primary to Form Six following the international syllabuses of the University of Cambridge. We offer Primary Checkpoint, IGCSE, AS and A levels.

HIGH SCHOOL POSTS

Vacancies will exist for experienced teachers of the Cambridge International IGCSE, AS and A level syllabuses in English Language, English Literature, Mathematics, Art, Physics, Business Studies, Commerce, Accounting, ICT and IT and a Teaching Principal.
Applicants must have:
• A recognised teaching qualification
• Experience in teaching the Cambridge International IGCSE, AS and A level syllabuses
• Experience coaching an activity from the school’s extensive extra-mural programme.

It is expected that all teachers will participate in the school’s extensive extra-mural programme.
