VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
Women’s Finance House Botswana (Thusang Basadi) (WFHB) is a micro finance institution registered as a company limited by guarantee with its main office located in Gaborone. Its vision is to economically empower low income women entrepreneurs in order to offer them an opportunity to effectively participate in the building of Botswana’s economy.
WFHB is looking for a dynamic, energetic and progressive person to join its Finance team
VACANCY: Cashier
Qualifications:
Certificate in Accounting/Business Studies
Diploma in Accounting/Business Studies will be an advantage
Knowledge:
Appreciation of accounting principles.
Numeracy
Proficiency in spreadsheets
Knowledge of quick books accounting package will be an added advantage
Job Summary and Requirements
Daily capturing and printing of inter-account borrowings and non-cash transactions
Daily checking of the Cashier’s summary and cash holding
Posting of daily summaries into Loan Performer and Quick books
Preparation of Clients’ withdrawals above the set limit
Assists the Cashier in balancing Clients Passbooks
Critical attributes:
Good communicator in Setswana and English, hard worker and a team player.
The above position is tenable in Gaborone head office.
