SALES EXECUTIVE – LOBATSE AND GABORONE
Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for the position of Sales Executive. Tied Agents tenable in Gaborone and Lobatse
Job Summary
The role of the Sales Executive is to drive exceptional sales within the locality of the branch The role also exists to control and execute other acquisition activities to maximise profitability of the customer base in the locality of the branch
Key Performance Areas
- Supervises, monitors and guides the sales activities of the Sales team members
- Responsible for achieving daily, weekly and monthly set targets for the team
- Responsible for ensuring adherence
to the sales cycle and ensuring quality sales
- Development of sales tactics and strategies for target achievement
- Ensure effective communication and coordination of service level agreements with the Operations Department
- Provides management information on the performance of the Sales team to management and Executive management teams whenever necessary
- Assist in the development of complementing national marketing/brand building initiatives with local initiatives in order to sustain brand awareness
Skills & Competencies
- Delivering results and meeting customer expectations
- Entrepreneurial and commercial thinking
- Self-starter who is results driven and can work under pressure
- Leading and supervising
Qualifications
- Degree/Diploma in Business or related field
- Professional qualification in sales and marketing would be an added advantage
- COP is mandatory
Background Experience
- A minimum of 5 years of Sales experience with a good understanding of the life insurance industry.
- Sound experience in managing a team of people.
- A track record in driving exceptional sales is a pre-requisite.
