PART-TIME TEACHING ASSISTANTS IN ACCOUNTING

VACANCY: FB/ A&F 4/ 2019

Duties: The successful candidate will be expected to conduct tutorials in the areas of Financial Accounting, Cost and Management Accounting, Auditing, Taxation and Ethics. Tutorials are typically conducted during the day, between 08:00hrs and 17:00hrs. Other duties include setting practice exercises, marking tutorial exercises, invigilation and any other assignments as maybe given by the Head of Department or an immediate supervisor.

Requirements: Applicants must i) have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related discipline with a minimum of 2(i) pass/ GPA of at least 3.6 or equivalent; ii) indicate their availability during the period of 08:00Hrs – 17:00Hrs during which tutorials are normally run. Experience of teaching at a University level will be an added advantage. Applicants should indicate the subjects in which they are competent.
