Graduate Intern – Botswana Stock Exchange Limited (BSEL)

The Botswana Stock Exchange Limited (BSEL) is one of the leading exchanges in Southern Africa and plays an increasingly important role in the country’s economic development by meeting the growing demand for investment products and access to capital. The BSEL wishes to recruit one (1) dynamic Intern to join Finance and Administration Department for a period of four (4) months commencing in August 2019.

Reporting to the Head of Finance and Administration, the core responsibilities of the job shall include:

1. Assist in the preparations of monthly management accounts
2. Assist in the preparations of audit files.
3. Assists in populating and updating the asset register of the organisation, ensuring that records are accurate at all times.
4. Preparation of creditor payments.
5. Preparation of annual and monthly invoices.
6. Collects accounts receivable.
7. Prepares monthly bank reconciliation of bank accounts.
8. Assists other staff members on general administrative tasks as and when the need arises.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING QUALIFICATIONS: The successful candidate should have a Diploma in Accounting or AAT.
