ACCOUNTANT – BONA LIFE

• Monitoring the day-to-day financial operations of the organisation.
• Providing insightful financial information and forecasts to Management to aid in long-term and short-term decision making.
• Reviewing financial data and preparing monthly and annual reports.
• Preparing periodic forecasts and annual budget for the organisation, as well as, coordinating the budgeting process of the organisation.
• Managing and maintaining the Fixed Asset Register.
• Advising management on the liquidity aspects for its short- and long-range planning.
• Maintaining a system of policies and procedures that impose an adequate level of control over treasury activities.
• Ensuring adherence to accounting standards.

• At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, plus a professional accounting qualification such as ACCA/CIMA/CA, or equivalent.
• At least three (3) years post professional qualification experience in an accounting role.
• Exposure to the Insurance Industry.
• BICA membership is a requirement.
