HEAD OF SALES AND MARKETING – BONA LIFE

Job Purpose

The Head of Sales and Marketing will report to the CEO and be responsible for providing strategic direction and leadership in the area of Sales and Marketing to ensure that the business attains its financial and business goals by delivering on its sales targets.  In addition, the position will drive the organizational transformation of the brand.

The Job

The incumbent will be responsible for among other things, the following:

• Developing and implementing strategic marketing plans and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives for products and services.

• Developing and managing sales/marketing operating budgets.

• Directing product research and development.

• Developing and recommending product positioning, packaging, and pricing strategy to produce the highest possible long-term market share.

• Establishing and maintaining relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners.

• Establishing and maintaining a consistent corporate image throughout all product lines, promotional materials, and events.

The Person

The right candidate will possess the following:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce or related field.

• COP and higher insurance qualification recognised by NBFIRA

• A minimum of eight (8) years’ post qualification, experience, five (5) of which must be at senior management level in a life insurance environment.

• Exposure to generating new business within large strategic accounts.
