DEPARTMENT OF CULTURE, SPORTS AND RECREATION:
VACANCY NO: IRC 822 – PART-TIME LIFEGUARDS: (2 POSITIONS) – 9 MONTHS CONTRACT, FROM AUGUST 2019 TO APRIL 2020
Duties: The successful candidates will carry out life guarding routines: ensure safety to all swimmers: enforce all the University of Botswana safety rules and regulations in and around the swimming pool: apply life saving techniques during emergencies. The candidates must be prepared to work at weekends, including public holidays.
Requirements: Candidates should possess: (i) High School certificate. (ii) Life -saving certificate that includes CPR techniques and First Aid techniques. (iii) Excellent physical fitness. (iv) Experience in performing the different life- saving techniques and swimming strokes. (v) At least 18 years of age and above. (vi) More than 2 year Lifeguarding experience.
