INSPECTOR, FLIGHT OPERATIONS x5 – Civil Aviation Authority of Botswana

Main Purpose of the Job

To undertake technical, inspection, certification and surveillance tasks to ensure aviation safety and assures adherence to CAAB regulations to enable CAAB to fulfil its mandate.

Position Requirements

• A minimum of a Valid airline transport pilot license (ATPL)
• Bachelor’s degree in a related Aeronautical field from a recognized university
• Type rating on at least two aircraft types in the Botswana register
• Auditing techniques
• A minimum of 5000 flight hours as Pilot-in-Command of civil or military air transport aircraft for airline transport pilot license (ATPL) holders
• Flight examiners course and an Instructor’s rating will be desirable
• Previous experience in operational management, airline pilot or designated examiner or equivalent as military pilot or equivalent experience in air transport operations
• Extensive operational experience of not less than five (5) years
